The Rising Gorge: America’s Master Humorist Takes on Everything from Monomania to Ernest Hemingway
Books Mixed 1
About this book
The thirty-six undeniably hilarious stories culled from such magazines as The New Yorker, Holiday, and Redbook, represent Perelman's writings during the 1940s and 1950s.
Have fond memories of Perelman's humor. These days, I find it oddly stilted and dated.
