One of his best but still, his humor doesn't work for everyone.Tim

Enticed by a job offer, the Douglas family moves from their remote cabin in Canada to a Hollywood suburb. Job woes, visiting relatives, crazy neighbors, and celebrity parties ensue, as told in Douglas's characteristic narrative tone. The story was good, but I again felt a disconnect as I had with The Neighbors Are Scaring My Wolf. This probably was from not having lived in a) remote Canada, b) a Hollywood suburb, or c) the early 70's.
